People always hear about the good dates… but trust me, I’ve had a few disasters too. π
One of my most memorable bad dates happened in London. We spent days messaging and he seemed funny, confident, and charming. Then we met and he spent almost two hours talking about himself without asking me a single question. By the end of the evening, I knew more about his gym routine than I ever wanted to.
Then there was Manchester.
The chemistry online was amazing. In person? Not so much. He spent most of the date looking at his phone. I started wondering whether he was more interested in me or his football scores.
Cardiff gave me one of the funniest stories. A man turned up looking completely different from his photos. When I politely asked how old the pictures were, he smiled and said, “About ten years ago.” At least he was honest… eventually. π
Thankfully, not every date is a disaster.
Sometimes you meet someone who makes you laugh, keeps your attention, and reminds you why dating can actually be fun. That’s what keeps me curious enough to keep meeting new people.
What about you?
What’s the worst date you’ve ever been on, and which city did it happen in?

I have a feeling some of your stories might be even worse than mine… π
